a personal hello..

well, on-location michigan shooting for 'basis of decision' is wrapped! it was truly an amazing experience.. so much talent and vision on the shoot. i have made some lifelong friends and danced in the streets a la jerome robbins. dream come true! i am very much looking forward to working on the soundstage ballet, being shot here in new york this summer. the final product of this film will be something to see, without a doubt!

this week i started my LABrynth theater master class. in our first day, we worked our instruments with voice and movement (incredible to work with russell g. jones who i saw [and loved!] in Ruined at MTC.) then wrapped the day with 2 hours of writing. i ended up with a scene that was a riot and was blown away by the freedom that came with throwing two random characters together and having to 'make it work.' lovelovelove.

the work on coryphaeus' fall production continues to keep me busy. the team is coming together in an incredible fashion and *hopefully* our director will be locked down this week.. i am very much looking forward to making the full announcement!

again, not on the official record, but from a recent proposition, i may just be getting back on the choreography wagon again and am really looking forward to that opportunity. but mums the word for now. stay tuned for that announcement!

very inspiring week ahead.. seeing stephen adly guirgis' new play 'motherf**ker with the hat" tomorrow. scenework and rehearsals. re-visiting my good friend hamlet for my directing seminar. hearing tony kushner speak at the public on sunday.

what does a girl do with this much inspiration? lap it up..

and hopefully, knock out some more of her play. :P
